Juana Manuel (1339 – 27 March 1381) was Queen of Castile from 1369 until 1379 by marriage to king Henry II of Castile. She was also the heiress of Escalona, Villena, Peñafiel and Lara, as well as Lady of Biscay.

Henri de Trastamare, né le 13 janvier 1334 à Séville et mort le 29 mai 1379 à Santo Domingo de la Calzada, roi de Castille, était le fils bâtard d'Alphonse XI et de Leonor de Guzman et le demi-frère aîné de Pierre I^er de Castille le Cruel, auquel l'opposa la première guerre civile de Castille de 1351 à 1369.
